Seller note:

Back then, this was the design others tried to match. 37 feet of keel/centerboard cruising perfection from the masterful partnership of Tartan and Sparkman & Stevens. Here is a yacht that was both revolutionary and evolutionary. Deemed a classic virtually upon introduction, she immediately created new standards. The shoal draft advantages of this hull configuration are not offset by reduced windward performance. She thrives on a stiff beat as much as on a board-up slide to leeward. And exhibits the speed, strength and gentle manners for which Tartans were renowned.
